This is our third year of producing this anthology. Thank you for coming along for the ride!

SCREAMING AT AMERICA! is an anthology of creative art accepting poems, prose, art, and other forms of creative expression from anyone who feels like they need to “SCREAM AT AMERICA.” This is not an anthology of hate. This is a collection of art bringing light to the things that enrage us about the United States of America.

• Anyone from any state, country, continent, or galaxy with something to say on this topic is welcome to submit a poem, prose, fiction, non fiction and/or a piece of artwork (that could be used for the cover art).
   

• Submissions Open on November 5th, 2025 at 12pm (roughly).

​

• Poetry: Up to three (3) poems, up to a maximum of ten pages total.

​

• Prose/fiction/essay/creative-nonfiction/other creative writing: One piece up to 1,000 words (submit in the same document with your poetry submission, if applicable).

 

• No simultaneous submissions (previously published work is welcome; do not submit work you are submitting to other publications at the same time as this one).

 

• Artwork submission guidelines:

• Submit up to three (3) images. Do not include any identifying information in the file name or elsewhere in your image submission.​

​​

• Artwork images must have a 2:3 aspect ratio and a minimum 300dpi.

​​

• Artwork chosen for the cover will be printed in color, but any other art in the anthology will be presented in black and white.

​​

• Submissions close on President's Day - February 16, 2026. You may NOT submit more than one form. Let us know at olivia.pearman.pchn@gmail.com if you have any trouble with your submission.

• No AI submissions. (Insert deity of your choice) will know!

There is currently no pay for selected pieces and author copies will be available at cost.*
